A Question I Asked One Year Ago

Last year, when I launched Solar Alchemy on International Women’s Day, I asked every woman I interviewed the same closing question: What will shape the solar industry in 2025?

Their answers were not dramatic or alarmist, nor were they naïve. They were grounded in fundamentals. They spoke about regulatory support and technological advancement, cost reductions and energy storage integration, growing energy demand, corporate sustainability commitments, and global supply chain dynamics. Underneath those factors lie a simple economic reality: solar is now one of the cheapest and fastest ways to deploy energy.

What struck me most was not just the substance of their predictions, but the steadiness behind them. Instead of panic and fatalism, there was resilience.
